I've been getting my hands dirty on RVs and trailers for years — diagnosing problems, fixing systems, crawling into places most people would rather not think about. I'm a certified RV technician and I genuinely love the work. But somewhere along the way I started noticing something.
The trailers that made my heart beat a little faster weren't the new ones. They were the old ones. The 1968 Shastas with the signature wings. The rounded canned hams in red and cream sitting in someone's driveway with a "for sale" sign. The Airstreams that had somehow survived sixty years and still looked like the future.
Vintage trailers are something else entirely. They're not just vehicles — they're time capsules. Every one of them carries the fingerprints of the family that owned it, the roads it traveled, and the decade that made it. Restoring one of these trailers isn't just a repair job. It's an act of preservation. Of respect for craftsmanship that was built to last and has, against considerable odds, done exactly that.
So I started Juniper Trailer Co.
We do two things. We restore vintage trailers — thoughtfully, thoroughly, and with the kind of technical expertise that only comes from years of real hands-on work. And we rent a curated fleet of beautifully restored vintage trailers to people who want to experience something that feels genuinely different from everything else out there.
We're based in the San Bernardino mountains of Southern California, right in the heart of some of the most beautiful trailer country in the West.
